{"id":1160,"date":"2019-04-12T23:19:33","date_gmt":"2019-04-12T21:19:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/anticor.milleniumhost.pl\/o-firmie\/historia-firmy\/"},"modified":"2021-11-27T00:40:19","modified_gmt":"2021-11-26T23:40:19","slug":"historia-firmy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/anticor.milleniumhost.pl\/en\/o-firmie\/historia-firmy\/","title":{"rendered":"History"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The historical events occurring at the end of the 1980s and at the\nbeginning of the 1990s were important for both our country and the Central and\nEastern European countries. As it is known, they led to significant political\nchanges and &#8211; as a result &#8211; to bold economic initiatives based on the natural\nbasis of private property. As a result, new opportunities to introduce modern\nWestern technologies into the markets of free countries emerged. And that was\nwhen ANTICOR was established. The company was founded in <strong>November 1991<\/strong>.\nThe founders&#8217; intention was to specialise in the anti-corrosion protection and\nto become a pioneer in the new <strong>multi-layered self-adhesive coating\ntechnology, i.e. polyethylene tapes<\/strong>, that were not used in the Polish\nmarket at that time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The entire year <strong>1990<\/strong> was spent on the evaluation of the possibilities of entering the Polish market starting from the gas market. The company sought the cooperation of the manufacturers of such equipment from the USA, Germany and Italy and, as a&nbsp; result, started cooperating with the American company POLYKEN-TECHNOLOGIES, which was part of the KENDALL concern at that time, currently Seal For Life Industries. The concern brought together a number of other branches manufacturing various high-quality products. <strong>POLYKEN multilayer systems<\/strong> are used all over the world in various climatic conditions. ANTICOR was the company that brought the <strong>SYNERGY technology<\/strong> developed by POLYKEN to Europe. Pipe insulations designed in this technology can successfully compete with the extrusion of polyethylene and polyurethane coatings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>1994<\/strong>, the company opened a department of industrial tapes. The distribution of tapes intended for use in electrical engineering, installation, specialised construction, military and household industry as well as many other areas of everyday life was initiated in stages. These tapes launched by ANTICOR under the trade name of Polytex and Electrix are well-known and valued products in our country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In <strong>1995<\/strong>, we extended the offer of the anti-corrosion department\nwith heat-shrink materials developed by the Canadian company CANUSA. They were\nparticularly useful for insulating welds, flanged and bell-and-spigot joints,\nthe so-called pipe unions, and for sealing casing pipes from line pipes. In\n2005, CANUSA products were replaced with products manufactured by Covalence\n(formerly Raychem), which is part of the Berry Plastics group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In 2013, ANTICOR launched its own heat-shrink sleeves under the name of\nANTICORRay WSS60 and WSS80 as well as the ANTICORRay REP repair system, which\nsuccessfully replaced Canusa and Covalence products.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting operations in the field of active protection made the\nanti-corrosion protection system complete. Such operations were started in <strong>1996<\/strong>\nin cooperation with the Hungarian-Swiss company CORROCONT. At that time, the\ncompany&#8217;s offer included: diagnostic tests of anti-corrosion insulation,\ninspection of pipelines and tanks in terms of corrosion, design and\nconstruction of active protection systems and supply of specialist devices and\nequipment. As a result, ANTICOR as the only company in Poland was able to\nprovide full anti-corrosion protection for gas, water and sewage facilities and\nother industries in which pipelines and tanks are used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ANTICOR means constant and dynamic development. We have developed from a small, three-man company established in 1991 into a company employing several dozen people and having a wide network of distributors, which enables us to quickly contact the customer. ANTICOR expanded its operations to foreign markets, and in 2001, we established a daughter company in the Czech Republic operating under the business name of <strong>ANTICOR Bohemia s.r.o.<\/strong>&nbsp; (ANTICOR holds 60% of shares), which distributes our products on the Czech and Slovak markets. Today, we provide advice to our customers and deliver our products to more than 20 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The most important achievements and dates in the history of ANTICOR are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>participation of the\ncompany&#8217;s representatives in the process of giving opinions on the Polish draft\nstandard for coatings covered by the German standard DIN 30672 (1992),<\/li><li>1st Polish national\nscientific and technical conference entitled &#8220;POLYKEN in Poland&#8221; on\nmodern anti-corrosion products offered by POLYKEN, with the participation of all\nrepresentatives of Polish gas fitters and foreign guests (1992),<\/li><li>acceptance of the company\nas a member of the Polish Corrosion Society (from 1992),<\/li><li>opening of the\nanti-corrosion tape packing department in Krak\u00f3w,<\/li><li>initiation and preparation\nof and participation in the implementation of the SYNERGY technological line &#8211;\nthe first one in Europe &#8211; in Huta FERRUM in Katowice (1993),<\/li><li>launching of Polytex\nindustrial tapes in Poland , opening of the packing department in Krak\u00f3w\n(1994),<\/li><li>opening of the SYNERGY line\nin DEGA plus in Ruda \u015al\u0105ska (1994),<\/li><li>initiative to introduce a\nmodern pipeline rehabilitation technology and related conference in Kazimierz\nDolny nad Wis\u0142\u0105, with the participation of CRC EVANS, an American company which\nis a global leader in this field (1995),<\/li><li>establishment of the\nANTICOR Group, which has a common policy in the field of marketing and\ndistribution of materials and products (1996),<\/li><li>establishment of the\ncooperation with CANUSA and distribution of heat-shrink anti-corrosion\nmaterials (1996),<\/li><li>beginning of the\ncooperation with the Hungarian company CORROCONT in the field of active\nprotection (cathodic protection), diagnostics of protected facilities in terms\nof corrosion, design and implementation of cathodic protection systems\n(officially in March 1998 at the national technical conference on that issue),<\/li><li><strong>implementation and\nobtaining of the first ISO 9001 quality management certificate (2003)<\/strong>,<\/li><li>development of the\ntechnology in <strong>the A30 system<\/strong> and start of the production of petrolatum\ncoatings under the name of <strong>ANTICOR Plast<\/strong> (2004),<\/li><li>launching of specialist\nVenture Clad aluminum tapes (2006),<\/li><li>provision of Clock Spring\npipeline repair solutions to customers (2008),<\/li><li>beginning of works on the launching\nof ANTICOR CIM waterproofing coatings (2008),<\/li><li>launching of Bristle\nBlaster<sup>\u00ae equipment<\/sup> for the preparation of\nsteel surfaces (2011),<\/li><li>launching of <strong>&nbsp;ANTICORRay<\/strong><strong><sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong><strong> heat-shrink sleeves <\/strong>(2013),<\/li><li>launching of&nbsp; <strong>ANTICORWrap<\/strong> bitumen coatings (2014),<\/li><li>launching of specialist <strong>Equalizer<\/strong>\n<strong><sup>TM<\/sup><\/strong> equipment: flange spreaders, hydraulic wedge\njacks, flange positioning devices (2015),<\/li><li>strengthening of the\nposition of the Polytex brand by introducing new products to the offer: Polytex\n580, Polytex 570, Poltex 560 and Polytex 550 (2016-2019).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ANTICOR and other companies and entities operating in the gas industry<\/strong> <strong>have been founding members of the Chamber of the Natural Gas\nIndustry<\/strong> since 2003. The Chamber of the Natural Gas Industry was\nestablished by entities operating in the gas industry in order to represent the\neconomic interests of its members in dealings with state, local and social\nauthorities, scientific and economic institutions as well as foreign\nauthorities and institutions. The Chamber&#8217;s mission is to form a gas lobby, to\nbring together natural and legal persons involved in the gas industry and to\npromote natural gas as a modern and ecological fuel. The Chamber also promotes\nup-to-date technical and economic knowledge and is ultimately to participate in\nsetting development programmes for the gas industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ANTICOR is a member of the <strong>Association of Polish Electrical Engineers<\/strong>,\nthe largest social and public utility non-governmental scientific and technical\norganisation founded in 1919 by engineers &#8211; representatives of the electrical\nengineering industry. It is a voluntary association of electricians of all\nspecialties and persons whose professional operations are associated with the\nelectrical industry in a broad sense as well as legal persons interested in its\nactivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In June <strong>2015<\/strong>, the first talks on the concept of setting up the\nPolish <strong>Chamber of Commerce of the Electrical Industry<\/strong> were held; that\nwas when the information about the establishment of a new organisation was\npublished for the first time in renowned professional magazines. Mr Adam\nBochenek, the President of the Management Board of ANTICOR, became a member of\nthe Audit Committee. The main objective of the Polish Chamber of Commerce of\nthe Electrical Industry is to build a broad representation of the electrical\nindustry, to protect the rights and represent the interests, including economic\ninterests, of members, to create the economic reality of the electrical\nindustry, and to build a positive image of entrepreneurs in Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In November <strong>2018<\/strong>, ANTICOR was accepted as an associate member of\nthe Polish Waterworks Chamber of Commerce under the resolution of the Council\nof the Polish Waterworks Chamber of Commerce. It is an organisation dedicated\nto all water and sewage companies the representatives of which wish to\nparticipate in the development of the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"pl\" data-phrase-index=\"0\">The event of 2019 is the establishment of a new production company, ACS Industry Sp.<\/span> <\/strong><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"pl\" data-phrase-index=\"1\"><strong>z o.o.<\/strong>, which is a supplier of raw materials and anti-corrosion compounds for the needs of our business.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Obtaining the Certificate in the &#8220;SOLIDNA FIRMA&#8221; Business and Consumer Programme, which takes place every year, for the first time in 2004 was a prestigious achievement.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2020, the company was honored with the EMERALD STATUETTE as a twelve-time winner of the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/anticor.milleniumhost.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Solidna-Firma-2021_EN_popup-1-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10852\" srcset=\"https:\/\/anticor.milleniumhost.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Solidna-Firma-2021_EN_popup-1-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/anticor.milleniumhost.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Solidna-Firma-2021_EN_popup-1-382x215.jpg 382w, https:\/\/anticor.milleniumhost.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Solidna-Firma-2021_EN_popup-1-540x304.jpg 540w, https:\/\/anticor.milleniumhost.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Solidna-Firma-2021_EN_popup-1-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/anticor.milleniumhost.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Solidna-Firma-2021_EN_popup-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/anticor.milleniumhost.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Solidna-Firma-2021_EN_popup-1.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The historical events occurring at the end of the 1980s and at the beginning of the 1990s were important for both our country and the Central and Eastern European countries.
